TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – One woman is suffering from non-life-threatening injuries after the “accidental discharge” of a gun on Friday, according to Tallahassee Police.
Around 3:10 p.m., officers responded to a Time Saver store on West Brevard Street where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
TPD ultimately learned the initial shooting happened inside an apartment in the 800 block of Wadsworth Street.
TPD said the preliminary investigation indicate the shooting was the result of an accidental discharge.
The case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time, according to TPD.
