The entertainment news for the capital city has been coming in hot over the last week with Florida State’s Opening Nights revealing its new season lineup and Grammy winning rapper Common coming to play with the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra on Nov. 14.
Now three more concerts booked into The Adderley Amphitheater will keep Tallahassee rocking this fall.
Leon County and Scott Carswell Presents announced on Monday, June 22, big shows with Gov’t Mule and Ziggy Marley on Oct. 7; Jubilee Music Festival III with Tye Tribbett on Oct. 10 and a return of indie rockers The Revivalists for their Get It Honest tour on Nov. 19.

Tickets for all three shows go on sale at noon on Friday, June 26. Here’s a look at what’s coming.
Gov’t Mule and Ziggy Marley
Last in Tallahassee in 2022, Southern rock and blues band Gov’t Mule, founded in 1994 by guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody, released “Peace Like a River” in 2023. Mule has teamed with reggae star Ziggy Marley for their Dreaming the Same Dream Tour with a stop in Tallahassee at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at The Adderley. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Gov’t Mule, led by Grammy-winning guitar legend, vocalist, songwriter and producer Haynes, and nine-time Grammy-winning reggae icon Ziggy Marley join forces for the Dreaming The Same Dream Tour.
The 16-date co-headlining fall outing – also featuring a guest DJ set from YOLA – reunites Haynes and Marley who notably collaborated to co-write the song “Dreaming the Same Dream,” a featured track on the Warren Haynes Band’s 2012 album Live at the Moody Theater, of which the tour is named after, according to the Gov’t Mule website.

The Tour will launch Sept. 23 in New York City and then make its way south to Haynes’ hometown of Asheville, North Carolina. The tour will stop in six cities in Florida (Key West, Hollywood, St. Augustine, Clearwater, Fort Myers and Tallahassee) and Atlanta, among many other markets.
“I’m really looking forward to the tour with Ziggy Marley,” Haynes notes on his website. “We’ve known each other a long time and have shared the stage a few times but never done a tour together. There’s definitely an overlap between the two audiences, but I think a lot of Mule fans will be hearing Ziggy for the first time and a lot of Ziggy fans will be hearing Mule for the first time, which is great.”

The Revivalists

Eight-piece New Orleans rock ‘n’ roll collective The Revivalists, (“Heart Stop,” “Wish I Knew You, Kid”), who last played Tallahasseee in 2024, will check into The Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park for a show at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19. Gates open at 6 p.m.
The “Get It Honest” Tour hits the road for the album by the same name, out July 24 with its “Heart Stop” single out now. With all eight band members now firmly into adulthood, with seven of them fathers, their “Get It Honest” album addresses the new moment. “Their sixth album is a true grown-folks record built on songs about cutting yourself clear of a past that only drags you down and embracing the parts of your present that make you grateful to be here at all, like love and grace and salvation,” according to their press release.

The Revivalists are known for their jam band groove, soulful alt-rock anthems, and mix of classic styles of American music, as well as their philanthropic Rev Causes initiative. The Revivalists broke through with 2015’s “Men Amongst Mountains,” which featured the double-platinum smash single and Billboard Hot 100 hit “Wish I Knew You.”
