TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After starting the year 3-1-1, the Tallahassee Reckoning are now 0-2-1 in their last three match-ups, a stretch that has switched them from controlling their own destiny in making the postseason to needing some help.
The Reckoning are currently fifth in the Southeast Division of the USL W League standings. To make the postseason, a lot has to happen, but first things first, they have to win out.
With two games to go, this group is focused on finishing strong, and letting the chips fall where they may.
“We always pride ourselves on the development the players get while they’re in town,” said head coach Izzy Cotto. “They get the opportunity to play two teams with professional clubs on top of them. For us, can we use these two games from a developmental standpoint to give them some exposure and make sure they’re going back to campus better than when they got here.”
Tuesday’s game is set for a 3:00 kick in Jacksonville. The Reckoning close out the regular season at home Saturday against Fort Lauderdale.
