How did your aftermarket career begin? My path into the aftermarket came at a pivotal moment on the OEM side—one that forced a choice between comfort and the unknown. I’m deeply grateful to Kevin O’Dowd, Leslie Cibor, James Croston and Brian Norko for believing in me and pushing me beyond my comfort zone. Mentors and friends like Rick Stempien, Tracy Beecroft, Mike Dolmetsch, Mike McKee, Cyndi Holt and David Boer have shaped my growth, while Bryan Funke and Tina Hubbard continued that support in the commercial vehicle space, helping me find my voice in this people-driven industry.
What advice would you give your younger aftermarket self? The biggest lesson: don’t overthink it. Growth doesn’t come from playing it safe or waiting until you feel ready. It comes from showing up, trying, adjusting and moving forward. Be patient—every step is shaping you into someone more capable than you imagined.
What are some of the ways you have seen the industry support women in the aftermarket? I’ve proudly witnessed Women in Auto Care evolve from a small, supportive network into a powerhouse driving real change and opportunity across the industry. Personally, I’ve been fortunate to be influenced by strong women like Kat Funke, Tina Hubbard and Laura Hewitt, who challenge me daily to think differently, push further and do better—while offering genuine friendship along the way.
