OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A Kissimmee man was caught earlier this month after he fled from law enforcement in an RV, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
In a release on Tuesday, deputies said the incident happened on June 12, when the man “decided to test his luck” by fleeing from deputies in his RV.
Deputies added that the driver — identified as Louis Anthony Robles, 45 — began to weave back and forth across lines while driving recklessly and refusing to stop.
“While his getaway vehicle wasn’t exactly built for speed, that didn’t stop him from creating a dangerous situation on the roadway,” the release reads. “During his attempt to evade law enforcement, he struck two other vehicles before the pursuit came to a halt.”
Deputies said that Robles was ultimately caught, and he now faces the following charges:
Driving while license revoked (habitual traffic offender)
Fleeing to elude with lights and sirens
Reckless driving
DUI (damage to property)
Leaving scene of an accident with injuries
Resisting a law enforcement officer without violence
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a controlled substance
