Naked Farmer has begun work on a second St. Petersburg spot at 2631 4th St. N. The farm-to-table eatery will open in November. It’s taking over what used to be EVOS, which ran for 22 years before shutting down last spring.

Fox Building Group is working on changes to the 1,920-square-foot building. “This is the first standalone restaurant we’ve built as our own, from the ground up,” CEO Jordan Johnson told St. Pete Rising. “Every detail — the space, the light, the way the kitchen flows — is designed to honor the food and the farmers behind it.”

The restaurant serves scratch-made meals. Ingredients come from small and medium-sized farms across the southeastern United States. Menu items skip seed oils. They use avocado oil and extra virgin olive oil instead.

The company started in 2020 and now has nine spots in Tampa, Sarasota, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise, Coral Gables, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Johnson said St. Petersburg means a lot to the brand. “St. Pete is where this all began for us, so opening a second home here is personal,” he said.

Harvest Plates anchor the menu, letting guests build a meal by picking a protein, a grain or greens base, and two sides that change with the seasons. Protein choices include grass-fed steak, Faroe Island salmon, rosemary-roasted chicken, honey BBQ chicken, and roasted blue oyster mushrooms and Crispy Sesame Tofu for plant-based diners.

Sides shift throughout the year based on what farms in the area are harvesting. Right now, you’ll find street cart corn, charred broccoli with lemon and garlic, roasted sweet potatoes, maple-glazed carrots, and spring garden kimchi.

Chef-curated dishes include the Backyard BBQ Plate and the Surf & Turf Plate, which pairs grass-fed steak and Faroe Island salmon with vegetables and spicy miso aioli. There are also house-made desserts, beer, wine, and drinks like honey hibiscus lemonade and ginger fizz.

The company reopened its flagship restaurant at 200 Central Ave. in downtown St. Petersburg earlier this year. A $1.5 million renovation expanded the kitchen and improved how guests experience the space. More growth is coming, with plans for Nashville, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Wesley Chapel.

The new spot on 4th Street North will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, it runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
