St. Pete is the gayest place to be in the Southeast U.S. this weekend.

Before throwing the region’s biggest Pride parade on Saturday, St. Pete Pride’s Friday Night concert takes over Al Lang Stadium with Chinchilla, Flyana Boss and Cain Culto.

It’ll be pretty damn hot Friday and all weekend, with severe heat and humidity expected. So, as per usual, hydrate and wear sunscreen or be prepared to be very nice to our local EMTs.

Celebrations start at 2 p.m. Saturday with a festival in North Straub Park. The TransPride march starts at 5 p.m. from Vinoy Park, followed by the official parade at 6 p.m. from Albert Whitted Park north to Vinoy Park along Bayshore Drive.

The party continues Sunday with the Sunday Street Fair on Central Ave., where just about every local business is having a rainbow-filled party.

Cocktail tops them all with its Cocked N’ Loaded mainstage celebration running 11 a.m.-5 p.m., featuring musical headliners Pepper Mashay and Tommie Genesis, along with “RuPaul’s Drag Race” stars Kerri Colby, Olivia Lux and St. Pete’s own Discord Addams.
