JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) – The Jacksonville Police Department arrested an 18-year-old Rusk man suspected in Sunday’s Lincoln Park shooting, according to Jacksonville police spokeswoman Amanda Bragg.
Deputies arrested Emiliano Lorenzo Ebanez around 5:41 p.m. Wednesday at the Jacksonville Police Department, where he was transported to the Cherokee County Jail pending arraignment, Bragg wrote in a press release.
The public was “strongly advised” not to approach and to contact law enforcement if Ebanez is seen, Bragg wrote.

Around 9:35 p.m. Sunday, Jacksonville police reported multiple 911 calls about a shooting near Lincoln Park at Davis and Holloway avenues.
Officers located three men with gunshot wounds, and the men were taken to local hospitals in private vehicles, according to a press release. They are reported to be in stable condition.
While responding officers attempted to disperse a large crowd from the area, another large crowd assembled in the parking lot of 7-Eleven North, and additional gunfire was reported around 10:10 p.m.
