KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Tennessee forward Felix Okpara has been drafted 46th overall in the 2026 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic and then traded to the Washington Wizards.
Okpara spent two seasons in Knoxville after transferring in from Ohio State, starting 72 games for the Volunteers.
In his first season at Tennessee, Okpara started every contest during Tennessee’s run to the 2025 Elite 8. He averaged 7.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game during the 2024-25 campaign.
Okpara’s final college season was his best. The Lagos, Nigeria native earned SEC All-Defensive team honors.
Okpara’s 1.59 blocks per game rank second on the Tennessee program career leaderboard.
