June 24, 2026 – Visit St. Pete-Clearwater reports Pinellas County’s tourism industry generated nearly $11.5 million in tourist development tax (TDT) collections in April, the highest April total on record, surpassing the same month last year by 14%. February through April, the “high season,” generated $36,159,000 – the highest ever TDT collection for the period – with nearly 5 million visitors.
