Heat recommit with Pelle Larsson after breakout season
Pelle Larsson becomes eligible to sign an extension with the Heat starting on July 6, and the window to sign an extension remains open until June 30 next year.
According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, Larsson is eligible for a four-year extension for as much as $93 million. If no deal materializes until the deadline, he will become a restricted free agent.
The 44th pick of the 2024 NBA Draft, Larsson emerged as another little-known gem for Miami. After averaging 4.6 points in his rookie campaign, the Swiss talent took off this past 2025-26.
Larsson started in 54 of his 70 regular-season appearances for the Heat. He averaged 11.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists while shooting 49.6 percent from the field in 26.4 minutes.
With a new era upon the arrival of Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Heat are fully compelled to have Larsson as a core part of their long-term plans.
