ONSLOW COUNTY, NC — An 18-year-old Jacksonville man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he robbed a woman at gunpoint and threatened her.
According to the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, Brandon Keith Smith was arrested June 21 in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 15.
Charging documents allege Smith stole $200 from a woman, pointed a black pistol at her, and threatened to physically harm her during the encounter.
Smith is charged with common law robbery, assault by pointing a gun, simple assault, and communicating threats.
He is being held in the Onslow County Jail under a $250,000 secured bond.
