GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Ongoing renovations to the Florida Theater may be paving the way for a new owner.
A listing on a Bosshardt Real Estate page shows the Florida Theater is available for lease with an option to purchase.
The building had been in decline until recently, when renovations got a financial boost from the Gainesville Community Redevelopment Area.
Property records show the just market value of the building doubled from 2024 to 2025 to $1.2 million.
