• So ticked off at TV 27 and “Family Feud” host Mr. Harvey. Questions and answers are not so family friendly. Can we do better?

• To the District 5 Brevard County commissioner: Please train your Wickham Park lawn crew on “mower etiquette.” I and others have been blasted with debris flying out of their mower chutes numerous times as they fly by. This is a total disregard for park visitors’ safety and is extremely dangerous.

• I wonder when the Republican-controlled Florida Legislative branch will find the courage to enact a truly hands-free cellphone law in this state. Thirty states in the nation already have this on the books. It is complete with point deductions and monetary fines for first, second and third offenses.  It would appear that Republicans in Tallahassee do not care about saving lives or helping to reduce auto insurance costs. Prove me wrong!

• Will all of the mothers with roaming kids please look after them and keep them at your house? It is not the neighbors’ job to keep them safe.

The flip side

• Thank you to Sue at Clemons Produce on Curry Ford Road near downtown Orlando. She has always been so pleasant and helpful and provides excellent customer service. They have a great selection of watermelon such as the Sangria watermelon that is huge and very flavorful. I bought one that was 25 pounds and under $10.
