TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Scattered showers continue this afternoon and evening as an upper-level low spins around the southeast. The disturbance will hang around through tomorrow, so rain chances stay a bit higher through Friday.
High pressure starts to settle in this weekend, leading to a mainly dry and HOT weekend. Temperatures will climb into the mid-90s. If you have outdoor plans, the earlier in the day or later in the evening is best.
For those hoping to cool down at the coast, weather conditions should be good overall. A small chance of showers, but most of the day will be just fine!
Summertime thunderstorms return on Monday, influenced by a backdoor front. There may be a few stronger storms on Monday. The afternoon storms continue through midweek. Temperatures remain HOT in the mid-90s. Morning lows in the 70s.
