Four band members are posed casually against a white, corrugated rolling garage door or shipping container. Two individuals sit elevated on a ledge, while the other two stand directly in front. The group is dressed in a dark, alternative aesthetic featuring plain t-shirts, a graphic metalcore band shirt, black pants, and a white outerwear layer.SeptemberIsTheOnlyTimeIDontThinkOfYou Credit: Press polaroid

The screamo revival is real, and it comes to the skatepark thanks to SeptemberIsTheOnlyTimeIDontThinkOfYou whose 2026 LP, Scars Like Kimberly, includes art reminiscent of early Poison The Well CD-Rs and a sound that certainly harkens to the golden age of ear-splitting emo.

Another space bar-averse band, DepartMeFromBearIsland, supports along with homegrown favorite Flowers For Emily and Ceilings, which nods its cap to midwestern, mathy, rock on its self-titled Armageddon Records release.

Tickets to see SeptemberIsTheOnlyTimeIDontThinkOfYou at Skatepark of Tampa in Tampa on Wednesday, July 1 are still available and start at $18.46.
