LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – It will be a little easier taking the family to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
Beginning June 6, Southwest Airlines will offer nonstop flights from Clinton National Airport in Little Rock to the Orlando International Airport in Florida.
According to Thursday’s news release, the seasonal route will operate Saturdays through August, with a flight time of just over two hours.
The flights will depart Little Rock at 11:10 a.m. (CST) and arrive in Orlando at 2:20 p.m. (EST). Return flights will leave Orlando at 10:20 a.m. (EST) and touch down in Little Rock at 11:40 a.m. (CST).
“We’re pleased to see Southwest adding nonstop service to Orlando,” said Shane Carter, the airport’s director of public affairs. “We believe there’s strong year-round demand for this destination and appreciate the airline giving us the opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our market.”
