Investigators said a 15-year-old boy fired a blue, white and yellow motorized Orbeez toy gun from inside a moving vehicle, striking an occupied car driven by Gregory Allen Davis, 49. Davis and his fiancée followed the teens’ vehicle while on the phone with 911. Detectives said Davis had multiple opportunities to stop following the teens, but instead exited his vehicle with a loaded 9-millimeter handgun when the car stopped. He reportedly ordered the teens to get out of their vehicle and onto the ground at gunpoint until police arrived. “Why are we pointing guns at kids? Because they were pointing at me. We got notes it was a BB gun. Where is your firearm? On my side. Oh, turn around, turn around,” Davis said. Police said the teens later admitted to firing the toy gun intentionally, explaining that they thought the vehicle belonged to a friend because it was the same make and color. They said they were playing a popular game. The teens explained they were playing a popular game, but Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Rachel Needle explained how that can be dangerous.”I think the most important thing isn’t should they play with toy guns or not, right?
