KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Gray News) – Florida officers rescued two dozen dogs in a vehicle without food or water.
Kissimmee police said they were called out to reports of multiple dogs inside a car. When they got there, they found about 24 dogs in and around an SUV parked in the shade.

No food or water appeared to be available to the animals, police said.
Two people were arrested and charged with animal cruelty-related charges.
“As Florida temperatures continue to rise, never leave pets, children, or vulnerable individuals unattended inside a vehicle—even for a few minutes,” police wrote in a social media post. “Temperatures inside a vehicle can increase rapidly, placing lives at risk.”
