GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Levy County commissioners host a data center workshop on Tuesday. Grappling with questions over data center, the workshop gives commissioners a chance to learn more and possibly develop a policy on whether to allow them.
Despite the antipathy between the chairs of the board of governors and the UF Trustees, the governors will meet in a special session on Wednesday to decide whether to confirm Stuart Bell as UF’s 14th president.

Jeroen Coombs is scheduled back in Marion County Circuit Court on Thursday. Attorneys are arguing over questions of confidentiality in the domestic violence case, where Coombs is accused of murdering Paisley Brown.
America 250 festivities are rising to a fever pitch, and fireworks are planned to kickoff Friday night in places like Newberry and Flavet Field at UF.
