PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Fourth of July is this Saturday and there are plenty of events in Northwest Florida to celebrate America’s 250th.
PENSACOLA
You can gather at Hunter Amphitheater in Downtown Pensacola for “Symphony Sparks and Stars.”
Festivities start at 5 p.m. with plenty of food trucks, vendors, family friendly activities.
The symphony begins at 7 p.m. with the fireworks show at 9 p.m.
PENSACOLA BEACH
On July 4, DJ Salty will perform from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by the Pensacola Civic Band from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Family-friendly activities will include face painting, a cotton candy stand, a stilt walker and more.
The celebration concludes with the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks display over the Santa Rosa Sound at 9 p.m. along the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk.
The Beach Chamber fireworks and the Downtown Pensacola fireworks show combine each year for a spectacular dual Independence Day celebration. Both displays will be simulcast live on Cat Country 98.7 FM beginning at 9 p.m. with the National Anthem, followed by patriotic music synchronized to both shows.
PERDIDO KEY
The Flora-Bama will put on a fireworks show on July 4 at 9 p.m.
