According to NBA insider Chris Haynes on NBA TV, the Heat are a team to monitor who could pursue three-time All-Star Bradley Beal.
“He has some interest, he has some value because a player like that is not turning down a player option unless they have some interest elsewhere,” Haynes said. “Imma say this right now, watch out for the Miami Heat.”

Bradley Beal officially declined his $5.6 million player option for the upcoming season, making himself an unrestricted free agent.
Beal joined the Los Angeles Clippers in last year’s offseason for a two-year, $11 million contract after negotiating a massive buyout with the Phoenix Suns, who are stretching out his previous supermax money by paying him roughly $19.4 million annually through 2030. Expected to play a heavy backcourt role following the Norman Powell trade, Beal’s campaign was completely derailed.
He appeared in just six regular-season games before a severe fracture in his left hip required season-ending surgery.
Across his brief six appearances for the Clippers, Beal averaged just 8.2 points, 1.7 assists, and 0.8 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game.
With the Miami Heat significantly looking for roster additions after being gutted by the Giannis mega deal, signing Beal would be a significant possibility to monitor.
