HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — An employee of a McDonald’s in Hallandale Beach, where a father and daughter were injured in a shooting that took place over the weekend, was arrested on Monday.

According to NBC affiliate WTVJ, the shooting happened on Saturday when 18-year-old Ralph N-Kosi Blue III was waiting at the McDonald’s where he works to ambush someone.

Police said that when the individual arrived, Blue fired his weapon outside in the parking lot, injuring a father and his 11-year-old daughter who were in their car waiting for their food.

Both were taken to the hospital where the father has since been released and the daughter remains in stable condition.

Also inside the car were two other children, a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old, but they were uninjured, police said.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office arrested Blue and charged him with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
