St. Petersburg police are investigating an overnight shooting that left a 20-year-old man critically injured.
According to St. Pete police, around 1:27 a.m. Tuesday, residents at The Meadows Apartments on 117 Terrace North reported hearing gunfire. Shortly after, a caller said they were transporting a gunshot victim to the hospital.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue intercepted the vehicle at a Circle K on Roosevelt Boulevard North, where the man was taken for treatment with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and no suspect has been taken into custody.
