Early morning isolated showers will increase coverage throughout the afternoon.

As coverage increases, storm development is possible with the highest coverage anticipated across the far interior, according to NWS Melbourne.

Hazards include frequent lightning strikes, wind gusts up to 45 mph and heavy downpours.

There is a 40-60 percent chance for rain after 11 a.m. across the greater Orlando area, with chances at 40 percent along the coast.

Temperatures will peak at 90 degrees across Central Florida, with skies being mostly sunny.

Winds are blowing northeast at 5 mph to 10 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

There is a moderate risk for rip currents at all area beaches.
