ACLU of Florida sues DeSantis over a court vacancy
The complaint was filed to compel DeSantis to name a replacement for Judge Kevin Emas, whose resignation was announced March 31st.
The decision drew pushback from elected officials and the public at a board meeting yesterday.

The Legislature set aside $75 million in ADAP funding, and those who earn 400% of the poverty level are now eligable.
DeSantis distances himself from Florida’s property tax ballot item
Although he will vote for the ballot item, he said “what the Legislature did wasn’t my proposal.”
