TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A driver charged in a deadly 2022 street-racing, drunk-driving crash along West Tennessee Street in Tallahassee was found guilty Wednesday, according to court records.
Vonetria Noble was originally charged with vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter. On Wednesday, recent court documents show that she was found guilty of DUI manslaughter, but rather than vehicular homicide, she was found guilty of a lesser charge of reckless driving.
As of Thursday, Noble’s mugshot is exempt.
The guilty verdicts come four years after the deadly crash occurred on May 19, 2022. A second driver, who court records identified as Mianni Cox, died in the accident.

A Tallahassee Police investigation revealed that Noble and Cox had gone to dinner together at a restaurant on Apalachee Parkway that evening. Noble told authorities that the two each had three shots of tequila at the restaurant just before having another drink together at a bar across the street before heading home, per court documents.
Moments later, both Noble and Cox began racing across town at a “high rate of speed,” according to several witnesses cited in the court records. An arrest report indicated that the two were traveling at 85 miles per hour.
Both drivers then ran red lights at three busy intersections just before crashing.
Cox died at the scene.
Noble is now awaiting sentencing in connection to the fatal crash.
