TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A strong high-pressure system has been keeping the eastern half of the country hot and will continue to keep temperatures above normal through the holiday weekend, including locally.
Feeling the heat this holiday weekend as temperatures climb into the mid-90s. A few cooling showers and storms are possible in the afternoon.
Middle 90s continue this weekend, but as high pressure loosens its grip on the southeast, shower chances return during the afternoon hours on Saturday and Sunday. The typical afternoon showers and heat continue into next week.
