JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) -Former Arkansas State forward Izaiyah Nelson signed a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic after being selected in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft.
During the 2025 season with the Red Wolves, Nelson earned Third Team All-Sun Belt Conference and Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament honors.
Nelson ranked fourth in the Sun Belt in rebounding, averaging a team-best 8.9 boards per game. He averaged 3.19 offensive rebounds per game, ranking second in the conference and top 30 nationally.
Nelson is set to play in the NBA Summer League, which begins July 9.
