TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Tallahassee police tactical officers recently trained alongside the Tallahassee Fire Department in a hands-on session aimed at improving coordination during high-risk emergencies.
Members of the Tallahassee Police Department’s Tactical Apprehension and Control Team, known as the TAC Team, used the joint training to learn new tactics and gain a better understanding of how fire suppression systems operate.

The training was designed to strengthen coordination between public safety partners and help both agencies prepare to respond effectively during critical incidents. Police said the TAC Team will be trained, prepared and ready to respond when real-world challenges arise.
