You might be wondering about the smiling faces of children featured on Page 1 of this week’s issue. Every Fourth of July, as the decorated Islander News golf cart makes its way down Crandon Boulevard in the parade, one of the most rewarding sights is seeing the excitement on the faces of the children lining the route, smiling, waving and taking in all the festivities.
