It was supposed to be a night of celebration at Al Lang Stadium. Dressed in their patriotic, 1985-inspired Stars & Hoops kits, to celebrate USA250 and the ongoing USMNT run to the Quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup the Rowdies should have been up for tonight.
But an uber-talented Lexington SC side that has under-performed this season thus far likely turned their season around with a 4-1 win tonight in St Pete. With the win Lexington which was just a point off the foot of the Western Conference table jumps above the playoff line (for now). It was Lexington’s fourth win in the last five matches.
