COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — The City of Naples’ Fourth of July fireworks display is scheduled for 9 p.m. Saturday.
WINK News will livestream the fireworks for anyone who can’t make it to the beach.
Because of construction at the Naples Pier, the fireworks will be launched from a barge offshore near 5th Avenue South. They can be viewed from all City of Naples beaches.
Drivers should expect traffic delays and several closures:
The Landings will be closed from 11 p.m. Thursday through 4 p.m. Saturday.Beach-end closures will be in effect at 8th Avenue North, 4th Avenue North, 3rd Avenue North, 2nd Avenue North, and 12th Avenue South.Lowdermilk Park will close once it reaches capacity.Towing will be enforced along Gulf Shore Boulevard North and South.Restricted access will remain in place around the Naples Pier.
City officials encourage people to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, consider alternate routes and follow posted signs.
