GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee woman was arrested in Grady County on drug distribution charges, according to the sheriff’s office.
GCSO said Brittany Butler was pulled over for speeding early Saturday morning. Deputies had probable cause to search the car and found illegal drugs and about $7,000.

Butler was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to distribute. She was later taken to the Grady County Detention Center.
GCSO Sheriff Martin “Earl” Prince said the arrest can serve as a warning to other violators.
“A simple traffic violation turned into another example of criminals attempting to move illegal drugs through our communities,” Prince said. “Let this serve as a warning: if you choose to bring drugs into Grady County or use our roads for criminal activity, you can expect to be stopped, investigated, arrested, and prosecuted.”
