Man rushes to help after fire starts outside Cape Coral home
CAPE CORAL, Fla. —
A Cape Coral family is searching for a man they say saved their lives after spotting flames outside their home on Northwest 8th Terrace.
The incident was captured on a Ring camera video from last night, showing the man rushing to the door after noticing the fire while walking down the street. The video also shows the homeowner running out of the house, and together, they moved to the side of the home to address the flames.
The woman who lives in the house said she wants to find the man and thank him, which is why she shared the video on social media.
“To this gentleman, I. I’m telling you, from the bottom of our hearts, from our family… I’m just thanking you for whatever you did. You saved their lives. Thank you,” Jennifer Pribanic, aunt of the homeowner, said.
The Cape Coral Fire Department said they did not receive a call about a fire at the home. The family is now focused on finding the man they call a hero to express their gratitude.
