ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. — A Jacksonville man is being held without bond after deputies say they found cocaine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia during an investigation Friday.
According to warrants, 29-year-old Matthew Brown was arrested on July 3 and is facing charges of felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Court records allege Brown was found in possession of cocaine and fentanyl. Investigators also claim they recovered a nylon zippered bag containing used syringes and a plastic screw-top container that they say was used to store or conceal powdered narcotics.
Brown was booked into the Onslow County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, July 6.
