JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — Drivers in Jacksonville will need to plan for a temporary road closure this week as crews complete work near the former USO property.
According to the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Jacksonville’s Streets Division will temporarily close a portion of Riverview Street from July 6 through July 8.
The closure will be in effect each day from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. while crews complete the project.
During those hours, motorists are asked to use Tallman Street and Court Street as a detour.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and use caution while traveling through the area.
