The BIG3 3-on-3 basketball league brought its fast-paced, half-court action to Amerant Bank Arena on Sunday for Week 3 of the season. Coached by Michael Cooper, the defending champion Miami 305 played without the suspended Michael Beasley and fell 50-38 to Montrezl Harrell and the undefeated Chicago Triplets in a rematch of last year’s title game. The four-game slate also featured a 51-48 victory for the Dallas Power over the Detroit Amps, a 50-40 win for the Boston Ball Hogs against the LA Riot, and a 50-38 finale where the DMV Trilogy defeated the Houston Rig Hands.
