TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Three men are expected to be sentenced Monday for their role in a 2023 home invasion that left a Tallahassee police officer shot.
In May, a jury found John’Darious Wright, Rahyim Sanders and Tyrell Guinnie guilty of two home invasions that happened the same night at separate locations in September 2023.

Wright was accused in both invasions, while Guinnie and Sanders were only accused in the second, in which Tallahassee Police Officer Caleb Babb was shot.
The second home invasion happened on Sandpiper Court. Wright was accused of shooting Officer Babb while running from the home invasion.
As a result, Officer Babb suffered massive blood loss but survived.
Prosecutors also said Wright shot another man during the first home invasion earlier that same night.
Ultimately, the jury found Wright and Sanders guilty of attempted first-degree murder. Guinnie was also found guilty of the attempted murder of Officer Babb.
All three men are scheduled to be sentenced Monday afternoon at the Leon County Courthouse.
