TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Tallahassee Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire Monday afternoon.
Around 2:15 p.m., TFD was dispatched to Darby Drive after smoke was reported inside a mobile home.
When crews arrived, there was heavy smoke throughout the home. According to TFD, the fire was found in the attic and quickly brought under control.

The homeowner was outside when crews arrived and no one else was inside the home. No injuries were reported, TFD said.
TFD said the fire is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike.
The American Red Cross was contacted to help the displaced homeowner.
