Jacksonville sanitation to charge for trash left outside city containers starting July 1

The City of Jacksonville’s Sanitation Department is letting residents know that starting on July 1, any trash bags that are not in their city issued container will be a $1.00 fee per bag.

Residents also have the option to get a second City-issued trash container for $11.00 per month, according to the City of Jacksonville.
