Former Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum arrested on marijuana charges in Alabama
Andrew Gillum, the former Tallahassee mayor who narrowly lost his bid for Florida governor in 2018, was recently arrested in southern Alabama on drug-related charges.
Gillum was arrested by the Daphne Police Department on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, according to Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office online records.
As first reported by TMZ, Gillum was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center after his arrest the evening of July 2 in Daphne. He was released the following day.
