FLORIDA (WJHG/WECP) – Former Florida governor candidate Andrew Gillum is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop in Daphne, Alabama.
According to Daphne police, patrol officers stopped Gillum on Highway 98 near North Main Street for erratic driving. One of the officers noticed a glass pipe on the center console of the car.

During a further search of the car, several rolled marijuana cigarettes and three packages of a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine were recovered, according to police.
Gillum was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony, and possession of marijuana, second degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was booked into the Daphne City Jail and later transported to the Baldwin County Correctional Facility.
