JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KETK) — The City of Jacksonville is facing an ongoing cybersecurity incident, causing limited access to systems and city services until further notice.
The attack first occurred over the weekend when the city said it detected suspicious network activity and, in response, took the necessary systems offline. They have since launched an investigation into the scope of the incident.

“Our investigation is in its early stages and is ongoing,” a press release from the city said. “We are working closely with third-party cybersecurity specialists to address the situation and to bring our network back online as quickly and safely as possible.”
