GREELEY, Colo. (KLTV) – Team ropers Lightning Aguilera of Athens and Kaden Profili of Jacksonville joined forces to win $16,377 across four rodeos last week.
At the Greeley Stampede in Greeley, Colorado, Aguilera and Profili finished first in the first round with a time of 4.4 seconds to win $4,442. The duo finished fourth in the average with a time of 18.3 seconds to win $4,055. In the finals, Aguilera and Profili finished first with a time of 4.3 seconds to win $1,349. At the World’s Oldest Rodeo in Prescott, Arizona, the duo finished fifth with a time of 7.8 seconds to win $1,301. At the Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo in Molalla, Oregon, Aguilera and Profili finished second with a time of 4.4 seconds to win $3,067. At the Basin City Freedom Rodeo in Basin City, Washington, they finished sixth with a time of 4.9 seconds to win $2,163. Aguilera, the No. 7-ranked header, has earned $78,542 this season, while Profili, the No. 8-ranked heeler, has earned $69,918.
Mount Pleasant tie-down roper Kincade Henry won $12,038 across three rodeos. At the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo in Oakley City, Utah, Henry finished third with a time of 7.6 seconds to win $6,227. At the Basin City Freedom Rodeo, Henry finished second with a time of 7.3 seconds to win $4,033. At the Eugene Pro Rodeo in Eugene, Oregon, Henry finished fourth with a time of 8.8 seconds to win $1,778. The No. 2-ranked tie-down roper has earned $147,673 this season.
Athens’ tie-down roper Cutter Carpenter earned $8,136 at two rodeos. At the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo, Carpenter finished fourth with a time of 7.7 seconds to win $5,189. At the Home of the Champions Rodeo in Red Lodge, Montana, Carpenter finished third with a time of 9.5 seconds to win $2,947. This season, Carpenter has earned $23,080.
Hallsville steer wrestler Justin Shaffer earned $2,672 at the Greeley Stampede. Shaffer finished fourth in the first round with a time of 4.1 seconds to win $2,351. Shaffer finished eighth in the average with a time of 8.8 seconds to win $321. The No. 24-ranked steer wrestler has earned $47,440 this season.
Marshall team roper Will Woodfin won $2,357 at two rodeos. At the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo, Woodfin and his teammate Aaron Tsinigine finished 14th with a time of 5.4 seconds to win $627. At the Killdeer Mountain Roundup PRCA Rodeo in Killdeer, North Dakota, the duo finished sixth with a time of 5.2 seconds to win $1,730. The No. 33-ranked heeler has earned $38,251 this season.
Carthage bareback rider Tilden Hooper competed at Mandan Rodeo Days in Mandan, North Dakota. He finished seventh on a horse named “Independence” with 85 points to win $912. The No. 24-ranked bareback rider has earned $47,995 this season.
Mabank team roper Boogie Ray won $886 at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo. Ray and his teammate Isaac Gholson finished first with a time of 5.1 seconds. Ray has earned $14,048 this season.
Jacksonville team roper Jayse Tettenhorst competed at the Cody Stampede Rodeo in Cody, Wyoming. Tettenhorst and Belden Cox finished 14th with a time of 5.3 seconds to win $711. This season, the No. 20-ranked header has earned $50,770.
