BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – A Baldwin County judge has set a drug court hearing for Andrew Gillum, the former mayor of Tallahassee and the 2018 Democratic nominee for governor of Florida.
Daphne police arrested Gillum on Thursday after officers stopped him on U.S. 98 near North Main Street for erratic driving. Officers said they observed a glass pipe on the center console of the vehicle.
What was recovered
Officials said several rolled marijuana cigarettes and three packages of a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine were recovered during the stop.
Court date and bond
Gillum’s court date is set for July 16. He is free on a $6,500 bond.
