SO HEAT ADVISORY STATUS, MEANING NOT ONLY WILL WE FEEL LIKE 105 TO 110, WITH THE HEAT AND THE HUMIDITY WORKING TOGETHER, BUT WE WILL FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS AND WE’RE EVEN MORE BULLISH OR MORE ROBUST IN THIS AGGRESSIVE HEAT RISK TODAY. MAJOR MOST OF THE AREA. AND WHEN YOU SEE THE PURPLE THAT’S AN EXTREME HEAT RISK. SO WE COULD SEE POCKETS OF AN AREA WHERE IT IS JUST REALLY TREACHEROUS TO BE EXPOSED OUTDOORS. Heat index readings will hit 105-110 degrees for at least two hours today. Meanwhile, a thick layer of Saharan dust continues to linger across the area. That will cap storm chances and present a haze in the atmosphere. It may exacerbate underlying respiratory conditions for some.
