Navy SEAL honored with free roof repair
ST. PETERSBURG – A decorated Navy SEAL received an unexpected gift when a Tampa-based roofing company provided a free roof replacement for his hurricane-damaged St. Petersburg home just before Veterans Day.
Richard Loth, a Navy SEAL veteran, was gifted a roof replacement by Action Roofing Services in collaboration with Operation Healing Forces. The roof replacement was valued at $20,000.
Loth’s roof suffered significant damage during last year’s hurricane season.
Loth served for more than 30 years in the U.S. Navy SEALs and now teaches at the Joint Special Operations University at MacDill Air Force Base. His global military career included leadership roles as Deputy Commander Special Operations Command South and Commanding Officer of Special Boat Unit Twenty-Two.
