7 boaters rescued on 4th of July after vessel crashes into rocks near St. Lucie Inlet

Seven boaters had a frightening encounter on the Fourth of July after the vessel they were on crashed into a patch of rocks outside the St. Lucie Inlet. Body camera video from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies approaching the vessel, which was stranded on the rocks. Video then shows deputies throwing a life raft to the boat. One of the boaters is seen climbing overboard to get off the vessel. (MCSO)
