TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The lower rain coverage that we had this afternoon will continue for your Friday. Better chances next week.
Humid tonight, hot tomorrow
After some evening showers, this evening we clear and dry out. Temperatures will be rather nice for the folks who got rain. Numbers will fall into the low to mid 70s overnight, staying in the 70s who got the rain earlier.
We end the week brighter and hotter with the thermometer climbing into the upper 90s. The very humid air will make it feel like 100 to 105.
Isolated thundershowers will develop in the afternoon to help cool down a few communities, but most spots will stay hot and dry to end the week.
Some weekend showers
The hot and steamy weather continues for your weekend, and rain chances look a little higher on Saturday afternoon. Temperatures in the mid-90s.
Sunday looks like it will be the wetter of the two. Scattered rain and storms. Highs in the low 90s.
Rain likely next week
Deep tropical moisture meets with a weak cold front on Monday and Tuesday, which will drive rain chances up between 60 and 70%. Heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and gusty winds are all possible. Although it will be humid, temperatures will be a touch cooler in the 80s due to clouds and showers Monday and Tuesday.
Back into the 90s with the more typical afternoon storms middle to late week.
